A non-smoking, elegant three story Licensed Victorian Guests House, with 8 individually designed bedrooms - catering for Singles, Couples and Families alike. Children of all ages are welcome, and we are happy to provide cots and high chairs for younger children if required.
To the rear of the property there are delightful terraced gardens for your use with tables and chairs. Why not relax in our gardens with a drink from our licensed bar, after a hard day at work - touring the area or even on the beach, before going out for dinner or upon your return. Small well behaved dogs over 18 months old are also welcome by prior arrangement. In 2006 we were delighted to have been awarded from the AA "Pet Friendly Accommodation of the Year" You will find Strathmore located in the Victorian town of Ilfracombe. Strathmore is very close to the:- Tarka Trail, Cairn Nature Reserve and the Green Flag award winning Bicclescombe Park, yet only a short stroll to both the town centre and sea-front, with the harbour being approximately a 20 minute leisurely walk. Just a short drive away you will find Lynton & Lynmouth, Clovelly, Exmoor, and many other places of interest to visit, along with the stunning beaches of Woolacombe , Croyde and Puttsborourgh. |
